ANA is the association of nanny agencies an organisation that is checking the standard of childcare recruitment sector.

ANA is working hard to help the industry image of offering a through and secure method of sourcing your nanny. In a world of internet and dependency on the not known ANA paves a journey of checking and assessing any agency that joins their association. This offers parents and nannies the reassurance that members not only meet a standard but often exceed the code of practice. At the meeting they invited the learned Dave Warboys who is Head of Risk, Intelligence, Performance and Engagement at Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS). Plus Karen from #Waye2paye ( payroll company) and Des from Happy Nest nanny agency all speaking about their specialist area. This is #CPD for the agencies, helping them understand areas important for the owners, clients and nannies they represent.

Unfortunately I was unable to attend due to teaching our future childcare practitioners, but with modern technology I was able to offer a recorded video. This enabled me to explain how we can help applicants become trained nannies in the 6 common core skills and become Ofsted registered. Our training world during 2020-2022 had to adapt to on line due to the lock down but we have transformed out training and can reach out not only to the UK but world wide. Our company is a CIC so all our profits go back to helping others.

Who can train with us? experienced nanny without formal training, an #aupair wishing to become a #nanny, a brand new career in childcare able to utilise transferable skills, or a #nursery nurse who needs top up training to move into the role of a nanny, the opportunities are vast. Here we will advise applicants the best route of training for their career hopes.

Having spoken to some of the agencies after the meeting they have shared that the meeting was very interesting, lots of new information to help them in a relaxed, informative and very enjoyable time in london.
